Terms of service

By accessing or using Shotgun ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Simple.

Shotgun is a job application automation service. It submits job applications on your behalf using information you provide. You remain the applicant of record for every application submitted. Shotgun acts as your agent, not as a party to any employment relationship.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to: use the Service to submit false or fraudulent information, impersonate other individuals, circumvent platform rate limits in ways that violate applicable terms of service, or use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law.

Shotgun submits applications using information you provide. The accuracy of that information is your responsibility.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup. Charges are non-refundable except in the first 14 days. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Shotgun and its licensors own all intellectual property in the Service. Your resume and application content remain yours. By using the Service, you grant Shotgun a limited licence to process your content for the purpose of generating and submitting applications.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Shotgun does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in employment or interviews. We do not control decisions made by third-party employers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shotgun's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email and by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
